I love pretty much all the above I'm great at doing art projects,painting,coloring,building tgings .If you allow your child to play video games I'll play those with them too.I love just sitting and watching movies or cartoons whatever is allowed in your home is totally understandable.I love the outdoors I ride bikes,love going to a park and pushing the younger on the swings or slides and even having a little picnic.I should have been a shark because I can swim the ocean.but if there are things I haven't done there's always room to learn or try,specially if its for the kids anything to make their faces brighten up.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the children you are watching are safe and you are really watching them at all times anything can happen and making sure they know you care for them so they are comfortable and they can talk to you. And make sure the parents are aware of any situation their kids might bring to you and not them for their safely
My experience with special needs children...
My grandmother worked with both special needs/disabled children and young adults and I used to go with her I was her little helper from when I was about 9-16yrs old so I always said I wanted to then out of high school my close friend her son was disabled had to be in a brace he had MS and I babysat him for 4 years everyday until sadly I moved to another state.Then down the road I baby sat another boy he was 5 when I started babysitting him and I baby sat him until he was 8 and he was autistic and needed a lot of attention and lots and lots of patience and for some reason I'm just good with kids they listen to me when they won't listen to no one they just gotta know they can trust you.I still am in that little boys life today we grew a bond for sure.I'm really strong minded I don't let much get to me.and am blessed to be able to take the extra time with them
The most important part about being a nanny...
When the little boy Aylx I had been babysitting from when he was born til he was pretty much 16 months sadly they relocated out of state his mother had sent a voice recording and it was them on their train ride to where they were going and its Aylx I can hear him talking and he's like that's my tisha yelling to his parents tisha and he keeps pointing thats my tisha I want my tisha they tell him no its not and they are sorry but they are to far for it too be me and he says yes it is tisha and its cause it was a little red car driving by and that's what I drove was a red car they said for months everytime he seen any red car he'd say look and get all happy and say tisha tisha my tisha .so I guess you can say it made me and broke me all at the same time.But thankfully I still am blessed with a daily video chat with him sometime 5 its great.
