A little bit about me

Hello!
A little about me I have been baby sitting since I was 9yrs old! Those who know me, affectionately call me the "baby whisperer". I owned and operated an at home a daycare Little Elephants Playhouse for 4 years. To which I provided daily curriculum, meal prep, nap times and more to as many as 5 children at a time. Due to Covid I had to close my doors, however I have been doing nannying since on a part time basis.
I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I have been CPR first Aid & emergency trained several times over the years. I have experience working with the elderly as well. As a caregiver my Goal is to provide a nurturing environment where your child can grow and learn in a safe and loving environment that promotes the social physical and intellectual growth of babies and toddlers.
I have cared for an overwhelming number of precious babies and children for many years. Caring for others as a gift that I've been blessed with, and I'm excited to share it with you.

In addition to my 15+ yrs of Nanny experience I had the joy of running my own in home daycare, *Little Elephants Playhouse*, for four wonderful years. There, I created engaging routines, supported developmental milestones, and focused heavily on infant care, including sleep training. I designed enriching curriculums that helped children thrive socially, physically, and intellectually in a fun and nurturing environment for up to 7Children and infants on a daily basis.

Apart from my Childcare experience I am also a Certified Medical Assistant with a few years expertise of providing elderly assisted living care and hospice care. I am also CPR, First Aid, and emergency certified. Your child’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play based learning for infants and toddlers. I find using an ongoing structured consistent environment. We’re learning is fun. Is the best way to get them preschool and kindergarten ready.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My concept of little elephants. Playhouse came from learning about elephants in the wild female elephants, raise their calves in groups with a matriarch, mother and all of the female elephants help to raise the calf teaching and protecting it in the wild. And I think this sums up what it means to be a nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny is when the child independently expresses their love and appreciation for you. Many of my children have now become my godchildren. All of my children are considered my family.
