Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been blessed in helping raise 3 step children as well as my sister's 3 children alongside nannying and babysitting for many children in my Asheville North Carolina community. I cared for children in Massachusetts and South Carolina as well. They are the light of this world and it brings me the greatest joy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts/crafts, time exploring in nature and playing in the park. Imaginative play is very important and I also love reading with children and have an extensive children's book collection. If they're into sports then that's fun too...Just playing in general really. It's always great to help improve their cognitive abilities in younger infants/ toddlers and the older they get the funner playing is! I'm a big kid myself when I get around them!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love Eastertime when I put on scavenger/ treasure hunts and they've got to follow clues to find the treasure map and then find a buried little treasure box! Really though, I could never pick a favorite moment. I cherish them all.
