More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteer work with children in an after-school program in an apartment complex in California. I also have cared for my younger cousins and my younger sibling in the past. Furthermore, I am currently a swim instructor and have been for 9 months now. I teach 1 year olds to 12 year olds and it's super fun! Finally, I also volunteered for a month at a school where I helped care for special needs adults ages 18-21.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the playground, going on walks, playing board games, talking with them, teaching them things like Spanish and swimming and fun stuff. I also have a habit of taking kids to the play place at McDonalds (don't worry I make them wash their hands). I also used to do arts and crafts a lot when I was a kid so we can do some fun stuff like make snow flakes and color and stuff like that. Otherwise, I'll ask the kids what they want to do, and if its within reason then we'll do it. I also like playing sports so maybe we could go outside and do something fun like that. I do like to stay away from tv but I'll let them watch it sometimes. I think that's everything!

Is having fun while being safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for adults with down sydrome, autism, and other special needs. It was a month of experience, which isn't a whole lot, but I was there for six hours a day so I have a good understanding of how to behave.

I took my brother-uncles (both 7, long story) to the McDonalds play-place and let them run around and eat some food. It was awesome! They had a blast and it felt very fulfilling.
