More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysitting four children at the same time—three boys and one girl, ages 9, 6, 6, and 3. I have extensive experience caring for young children, particularly between the ages of 2–5, and I have worked with children with special needs, including autism and ADHD. I am skilled in grounding techniques, maintaining a calm and structured environment, and managing multiple children safely and effectively. I can prepare meals, assist with daily routines, and engage children in age-appropriate activities. I also hold a lifeguard certification and a valid driver’s license, and I am comfortable transporting children to and from activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
With kids I enjoy diving into arts and crafts, painting, drawing, and creative projects that let kids use their imagination. I love being active—playing outside, running games, going on adventures, and spending time in nature. Swimming and water play are always a favorite, and I enjoy turning everyday moments into fun, engaging activities. I bring lots of energy, creativity, and positivity while making sure kids feel safe, happy, and excited to spend time together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, happy, and supported at all times. I believe kids should be able to have fun, be themselves, and enjoy their day while knowing they are in a consistent, secure environment. It’s important to me that children feel comfortable both mentally and physically—whether that means providing structure, encouragement, or simply a calm presence they can trust. When children feel safe and cared for, they’re able to learn, grow, and truly enjoy being kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I enjoy working with children with autism and ADHD, where I’ve learned to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to individual needs. I’m comfortable using grounding techniques, maintaining routines, and creating a calm, supportive environment while still keeping activities fun and engaging. I focus on positive reinforcement, clear communication, and meeting each child where they are so they feel safe, understood, and confident.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was working with a child who became overwhelmed and overstimulated. I was able to help them slow down using grounding techniques and calm breathing, giving them the space and reassurance they needed. After a few minutes, I watched their confidence come back—they rejoined the group, started smiling again, and happily jumped back into play. Seeing that shift and knowing I helped them feel safe, understood, and supported was incredibly rewarding and reminded me why I love working with children.

Babysitter Available in Bismarck, ND: Holly W.
Hi, I’m Holly! Caring for others has always been a passion of mine. After high school, I attended Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, where I studied Child Development. I worked in childcare centers as an assistant teacher caring for infants and toddlers.
I then became a stay-at-home mom and had the privilege of raising my six children, now ranging from 28 to 16, including 16-year-old twins. This gave me years of hands-on experience nurturing, teaching, and caring for children while creating a safe and loving environment.
As my children grew, I started a part-time cleaning business, building strong skills in organization, reliability, and attention to detail. I have also worked in long-term care with older adults, strengthening my patience, compassion, and caregiving skills.
I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, warmth, dependability, and genuine love of caring for others to a family as a nanny
