I used to be a daycare worker for newborns and 1 year olds. I started helpin out with babysitting my little cousins when I was about 8 and started watching them more often alone as I’d get older.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I enjoy with kids would include, any kind of arts and crafts. I enjoy sitting down and playing with toys or dress up bc I believe children should have imaginations!! Outdoor activities I enjoy is catch or playing at park. Watching kids ride their bikes and just playin with chalk or bubbles.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny is keeping children safe and out of harms way while still letting them have fun, learn, and enjoy their childhood as much as possible before growing up!!!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a younger brother who has Autism and ADHD, I’ve cared for him for the pasted 8years before moving. I also had a child development class in high school and helped out in a special needs class at an elementary school.
