With almost 5 years in nanny experience, I have also worked as a lead teacher for ages 18 months-3 years in a center. I found my love for Montessori learning from working as a Teacher’s Aide in a Montessori school for 2 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite indoor activities with children are sensory games and arts and crafts. But I most enjoy getting outside in the summertime! Splash pads are definitely a favorite. Another favorite is swimming as one of my nanny kids took swim lessons and when it was age appropriate, I joined him in the water for his classes. He then went on to higher skill levels and I really liked getting to sit in the lobby and watch him swim!
The most important part about being a nanny...
is getting to be there to lend a helping hand to parents and be able to give them the reassurance that their child is in safe, loving hands and will always have all their needs met.
