The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a mum myself, I understand how important it is for parents to know their child is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. To me, being a nanny is about building trust with both children and their families, creating a loving and secure environment, and helping children grow in confidence while having fun. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, encouragement, and someone who will care for them as if they were their own.

I have experience caring for children with cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs. I work closely with families to follow care routines, encourage independence where appropriate, and create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was watching a child who was initially very shy gradually come out of their shell. After spending time reading stories, playing games, and encouraging them every day, they surprised everyone by confidently joining group activities and greeting me with a big smile. Seeing a child grow in confidence and knowing I played a small part in that journey is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for children.
