Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes several years of babysitting, nannying, and working as a summer camp counselor. I consistently nannied for two families, providing reliable childcare, managing daily routines, preparing meals, helping with homework, organizing activities, and creating a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages.
Throughout high school, I also volunteered at a family birthing center for all four years, where I gained exposure to newborns and developed an even greater appreciation for caring for children and supporting families during important life moments. Growing up as one of four siblings has made me comfortable in busy households and caring for multiple children at once.

I love finding activities that make children excited and engaged! Whether it’s going to the park, playing outside, doing arts and crafts, reading together, playing games, or getting creative with toys and imagination, I enjoy joining in on whatever brings kids joy. From racing cars and building forts to braiding doll hair or exploring new hobbies, I love making everyday activities fun and memorable.

The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and consistent environment for children. A nanny should build trust with both the child and the parents by following family routines, respecting parents’ expectations, and providing the same structure and care even when they are not there.

My experience with special needs children includes caring for my cousin with autism on numerous occasions throughout my life. This experience has helped me develop patience, flexibility, and an understanding that every child has unique needs and ways of communicating. I have learned the importance of creating a supportive, comfortable, and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.

My favorite nanny moments are the ones that remind me how meaningful it is to build a connection with the children I care for. One of my favorite feelings is when a child is excited to see me, asks when I’m coming back, or tells me I’m their “favorite babysitter.” Knowing that I’ve created a safe, fun, and trusting environment where they feel comfortable being themselves is incredibly rewarding. I love being someone children can look forward to spending time with while also giving parents peace of mind that their kids are happy and well cared for.
