I used to be an au pair in New York City the past year with a sweet baby girl (3 months old). I used to babysit back to my hometown a twin girl and boy (2 years old) and a special needs brother of them (7 years old). I miss being around kids, since I am back to my major, as a scientist at Harvard University. I am looking for a weekend babysitting, It can be a full weekend, I can stay overnight, and I would be happy to be around your kids. They all made me happy. Every kids who I have ever met. Their small word means a lot to me and their honesty sometimes move me out from my everyday life and give me to think, what make me happy.
My experience with special needs children...
I had an ADHD boy with some speaking disability, it was a type of stuttering. We did pretty well together, sometime he needed some relax time, we played a lot of cardboard games when his twin siblings were taking a nap. He was 7 years old when we first met. I loved being around him. He was pretty good at singing ang music, I used to sing, so we had a lot in common.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My twin babies messing around the house and even they were bigger and know how to use the toilet. We were having fun and Joe forgot that he had to poo. so he pood into his pants.. He felt embarrassing but we did have the sweetest conversation ever, and I gave him a bath with a lots of laugh.
