Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have two years of experience nannying full time. And 3 in total including part time. In 2013 I worked with kids ages 7-13 in swimming lessons at UH. Currently, I work part time and babysit for two other families and sometimes friends. I enjoy working with keiki of all ages. I would describe myself as interactive, patient, loving, and nurturing. I value clear communication, honesty and connection. I'm looking for a part time, long term nanny position for a family in need.

I love to play with keiki outdoors. I like to read, art, help with their homework, play pretend, and eat with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Learning and teaching keiki how to enjoy life. When things get hard, I think it’s important for keiki to be led in how to get through hard things. And as an adult, how to open your heart when you want to close it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was helping calm down a person who’s 5. He was having meltdowns through the evening and I needed to get him showered and ready for bed. I connected with him while he was crying and helping my focus on breathing and breathed together. It was beautiful.
