I love arts and crafts! My favorite thing is coming up with cool art projects to do with them. I also love love love the outdoors, and will take any chance to go outside. Finding new parks, taking hikes, and jumping in leaf piles are all the most fun when accompanied by kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like the most important part about being a nanny is taking care of the child’s needs. Connecting with them is obviously a massive part of being a nanny (the most fun part too), but I think it’s pretty clear that basic care takes priority over friendship.
My experience with special needs children...
Many of the children I tutor have mental disabilities that require me to adjust how I teach and explain different concepts to different kids. I am patient and I understand what it means to care for children with special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
While I haven’t been a nanny yet, I have babysat since I was 13. My favorite moment by far was when babysat this girl who had never played Candy Land before. I obviously introduced it to her, and she loved it so much we played it nine times in one night. And when we were getting her ready for bed we picked out Candy Land-themed pajamas.
