Hi, I’m Porché. I am currently a nanny & have been for the past four years for the same wonderful family. I began working w/this family when the oldest girl was 6mo. old & have been happily working w/them ever since. I started babysitting when I was 14, looking after younger siblings, shortly after watching children w/in the neighborhood. I have experience working w/children of all ages. I graduated from EWU & I’m currently in pursuit of my nursing degree. I am CPR & first aid certified, licensed CNA &Phlebotomist. My hobbies include swimming, walking, hiking, kayaking, basically spending as much time outdoors! I also enjoy cooking, baking, crafting,& gardening.I am open to trying new activities! I absolutely love working with children! I think it is important to get at their level, make connections w/one another, have a mutual respect, provide safety, & to be a positive role model. I am creative, honest, & sincere person, which I believe are essential qualities babysitters must have.

I have so many years of caring for kids from infancy to teenagers.
My main goal is to teach your child as well as keep them safe. I understand there is a literacy problem in the USA so I’m really focused on teaching phonics and basic math skills. I don’t believe that kids should be sitting in front of a screen all day, it hurts their brain development more than people realize. When I watch kids I only allow 1 hour of supervised screen time.
I also encourage kids to eat healthy, I’m a no bs sitter. I have explained to the pickiest of kids why they have to eat the meal that has been prepared for them and I guess when you break down the nutritional facts and explain how each component helps them grow, they stop fighting about meal times.
