More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an elementary education teacher for about 30 years and currently spend time subbing in our local school district. I have also worked with young people through our church (VBS programs, children's classes, Adventure Club, etc.) My husband and I also have raised two daughters and assist as a Host Familt for International Exchange Student Programs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When taking care of children, I think it's important to do fun, active things that create positive moments and memories.
I enjoy taking kiddos outdoors for nature walks, playing at the park, building a winter snowman, or the magic of walking with an umbrella in the rain. Visiting local libraries for children's story times and other planned programs (ie: skits, music, etc.) is also lots of fun. I love reading good books to young people, helping them develop language & number skills (or for older kiddos, helping them with homework), doing crafts, going to the lake to swim, etc.
Sometimes the quieter, rainy-day moments can be just as special: doing a puzzle, playing with play dough, coloring/painting a picture, having a tea party, building w/blocks, making cookies together, or simply letting the child play independently with their toys. These quiet moments provide opportunities for creativity and expression.
My philosophy in raising kids: Build Relationship... Make Memories

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Auburn, WA: Araceli M.
Hi, I'm Araceli! I've been caring for children most of my life. I helped raise and care for my three younger siblings growing up, and I was also a foster parent to my nephews for a number of years. I have professional nanny experience, so I'm comfortable with the extra care, patience, and attention they need. I also have experience working with children with special and complex needs.
I am naturally nurturing, patient, dependable, and attentive, and I really value creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and comfortable.
I understand how important it is to trust someone with their child, and I would treat that responsibility with the same care that I would want for all.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Auburn, WA: SemaJ M.
Hi! I’m Sema’J, and I have 6+ years of childcare experience. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, patient, caring, and attentive. I’m also a proud auntie of 7, and I’ve helped raise all of them in my home alongside my mom. This has given me years of hands-on experience caring for children, helping with routines and homework, preparing meals, planning activities, and supporting their growth.
I love creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy creative activities, including arts and crafts, and I’m always happy to keep kids engaged and entertained.
I’m currently pursuing my education with plans to become a Labor & Delivery nurse, and I also have a passion for teaching and working with children. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their child, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’d love to provide your family with safe, reliable, and loving care!
