I am a Special Education teacher. I play beach volleyball and love to be in the sun! I have about 10 years of babysitting and nanny experience. I babysit for quite a few families for date nights, & had many nannying jobs where I would help the kids with school, homework, prepare lunch, and spend time doing any other activities with them. I am a Special Education Teacher with over 8 years of babysitting and nannying experience caring for children of various ages and abilities. My professional background has given me extensive experience creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments where children can learn, play, and thrive. I am patient, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. Whether helping with daily routines, planning fun activities, assisting with homework, or providing specialized support, I strive to make families feel confident that their children are in caring and capable hands. Since I am off for the summer, I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping children active, engaged, and having fun while learning through play. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, sensory activities, reading books, building with blocks and Legos, baking simple treats, playing board games, doing puzzles, and imaginative play. Outdoors, I enjoy trips to the park, nature walks, scavenger hunts, sports, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and other activities that encourage movement and exploration. As a teacher, I also love incorporating age-appropriate learning opportunities into everyday activities while making sure children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I believe every child deserves patience, kindness, and someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with them. My goal is to build trusting relationships with both children and parents while helping children learn, grow, gain confidence, and have fun. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and someone families can trust to care for their children as if they were my own.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been working with kids who have disabilities for 7 years. I started as an aid in a teachers room in middle school. Ever since then I absolutely loved it! I continued throughout high school to aid in teachers classrooms, and I lead a youth group for kids and young adults who have disabilities and have been doing that for about 5 years. I am currently going to school to be a special needs teacher
