I worked as a summer camp counselor, I was in charge of a group of 7-8 year old girls Monday- Friday from 8am- 5:30Pm. Additionally, I have been a nanny for two other families. In one I watched three girls, a two year old, a 7 year old, and an 11 year old. The other family I worked for had a 5 year old boy!

I love spending time outside, going to the park, going on walks, playing sports. I also love drawing/ painting, doing arts and crafts, cooking, and dancing with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...
A nanny moment that stuck out to me was being able to help one of the girls I worked with become more confident in her math skills. When I first started working with her family she was very apprehensive about letting me help her with her math homework, and she often felt ashamed of her ability to preform in math. After working with her throughout the school year and helping her with her homework and teaching her that its oaky to need help, she ended the year loving math class and getting good grades. This was important to me because she was able to build confidence and find her voice.
