More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have dealt with children of all ages at different points in my life. I started off with my little sister who was born when I was about 4 and so I became my mom's little helper. Compared to most of my family's friend's kids I was always the oldest, which means every party, get-together, etc. I was in charge of playing babysitter. A more professional example would be for about two years I would care for twins and also worked at a gyms where I’d be in the daycare area!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm always down for an adventure. Depending where we are located will definitely determine what we can or can't do. No matter what, when the time comes we will always have fun. That I can promise!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience. I cannot stress that enough. Kids do not come with a manual, and they change so much every day that it's hard for everyone to keep track. As the adults we must know how to keep it cool esspecially during those high-stress situations.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a four-year-old cousin, named Ezra (turning five end of November) who was diagnosed with Autism. Up until just a few months ago, he was even non-verbal. Caring for him and seeing his progress brings me so much joy and excited for his future. His new favorite thing is playing "trains vs. car" on Roblox and it is absolutely adorable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

On my last day with the twins, after school, I picked them up and we had the best day ever. It started off with ice cream because who doesn't like that? This was around February/ march so it was still quite chilly. Therefore, we went back to their house where we built the most awesome fort! After that we took the dirt bikes out to end this super awesome yet sad day. I will forever treasure the moments I had with these kids and their mother who took a chance on me.
