The most important part about being a nanny...
Nurturing. The idea of nurturing a child is priority of a nanny's role. Being able to connect on a deep level, build a safe and loving relationship with the child offering a stable environment is important elements of nurturing a child. A nanny needs to love children and be knowledgeable about child development. They are taking the place of parents while caring for those children.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children has come from working as a Medical Assistant in pediatrics. I’ve worked with kids that have Down syndrome, Autism, kids that are blind and more. Sometimes the parents will warn me if the the child does not doing certain exams or vitals, but I alway tell the parent to let me try myself with them and the parents are always amazed by how work with the child and how they allow me to do what I have to do. I always say a child knows and feel the vibes of others and they allow you if they feel that they can trust you and that’s why I’m always gentle with them, I treat them as little human beings that they are no matter what needs they have and I always make them feel comfortable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The pranks that kids do from their own ideas is funny, the teaching Spanish moments. The moments when they say silly things or the questions that they. The moments when they get so excited. That fills me with joy
