When I was in high school I volunteered to help children with homework and monitor play time at a daycare on Franklin road in Marietta GA (Mon, Wed, and Friday)!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to paint with children (I can bring my own supplies), playing board games (uno, snakes and ladders, simple games however I’d hope to teach them how to play chess and checkers haha), and sports!! I played soccer all through high school but I love basketball and willing to try any sports children are interested in. There’s so many more!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The number one is their safety. You have to monitor them a lot because they’re accident prone so it’s nerve racking every time when you’re chosen to protect them.
The second is for them to be stimulated intellectually and physically, kids are so energetic and if you don’t disperse that energy into games or physical activity they will become agitated and just reckless!

The most important part about being a nanny...
When two children would fight over candy when I would bring them to get them to settle down, and it’s nice to know they respected me because I talked sternly and offered each of them more candy if they would get along with each other through the day.
Honestly just whenever kids giggle when I make jokes and just their clumsiness and the way they get upset but are quick to be happy again!
