For nearly two decades, I've dedicated my life to nurturing young minds in various settings including public and private schools, homeschooling, nannying and respite care. My passion lies in fostering a lifelong love of learning.

I hold a college degree in child development from Santa Ana College (California). I am also a Certified Teacher. I maintain current First Aid Training and CPR certification and am well-versed in conscious discipline. Parents appreciate my patient, calm, and supportive personality. I enjoy the outdoors and promote activities that get children out in the community. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I began my teaching career as an assistant in a special needs preschool in 2007. From there, I went on to study child development and obtained my AA in the field. I earned my teaching certification from Orange County department of education in California. I have taught preschool and kindergarten since 2016 and have spent summers nannying for families during that time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors and encourage children to experience, explore and appreciate nature. I try to incorporate weekly outings to the library, museum, smoothie shop, gym, etc. Neighborhood parks are among my favorites!
I have plenty of experience designing tailored activities that are engaging and developmentally appropriate across all learning domains.

I have worked with children and adults of all ages and abilities including ASD, Down’s syndrome, hearing and/or visual impairment, CP, behavioral and/or emotional challenges, TBI, to name a few

I nannied for a family with 6 children every summer for 5 years, the children are now much older and they still call and text me regularly

I also provided in-home respite care for a blind and nonverbal child on the spectrum; I toilet trained him in 1 years time at the age of 8.
