Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked for the last 1.5 years as a registered behavioral health technician (RBT). I provide applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum with the goal of helping promote functional communication skills, positive social interactions, and school readiness. The primary age range I have worked with being 3-8yrs old. Please note, I am not certified to provide these services without supervision from a board certified behavior analyst.
I also have eight months of experience as a nanny/household assistant for a family of five. Primary duties were household support including; scheduling, grocery shopping and other household errands, laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household organization. In addition, I provided childcare, as needed, to the two youngest children - 3yrs and 5yrs old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When possible, I prefer to let the kiddos lead the activity and choose their own interests. However, I do like to encourage hands-on or active play. For example, making crafts, building with legos/magna tiles/etc., water (or other sensory) tables, Simon says, red-light green-light: the list goes on. I am comfortable with the incorporation of age-appropriate education at the parent’s discretion. In my previous experience I have read to the kiddos, completed worksheets, and played educational games.
