I believe the choice between indoor and outdoor activities are completely dependent on the child. A child that is on the more active and energetic side would thrive with a day at the park, while a child who needs more mental than physical stimulation would thrive with a board/ learning game and arts and crafts. Sometimes you can find the need of both in a child so you have to throw in a mixture of the two! That’s why it’s so important to get to know the child/children you’re taking care of!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part of nannying is establishing trust and creating a bond with not only the child, but also the parent. It’s so important to have a great communication line between me and you to make sure you’re child thrives while in my care. That bond between a child and a nanny is such a treasured thing. It takes time and effort and I am more than willing to put that in.
