A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Rachel, a part-time student at Tufts University studying Mechanical Engineering and Astrophysics. I’m finishing my classes virtually, so my schedule is very flexible, and I’m open to a live-in position. I have previously cared for children aged 10mo-8yo and 2 children at once.

My favorite part of childcare is laughing. I feel such a sense of accomplishment when I have built enough trust for your child to joke and play around with me. I alsoreally value being a friend, especially with younger kids..

I take pride in encouraging your child’s ideas and creativity. I see my job as a guide, tailored to the personality and needs of each kid.

I do not have any official nannying certificates or previous jobs, but I have babysat for nearly 3 years for three families. Not currently CPR or first aid certified, but I’m planning to re-do these courses asap. Vaccination record available upon request, and I’m happy to follow your COVID safety.
