The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny memory as a nanny occurred while caring for a quiet 2 year old boy. Despite his initial shyness, our daily lunchtime routine soon became a highlight. One day, as I arrived I was greeted with a beaming smile and spontaneous hug from him. Later, during a evening board game he climbed onto my lap rested his head on my chest and stayed there cuddling with me. When his parents came home he was reluctant for me to leave and as I walked out of the house he sweetly said “I love you” to me, which was the cutest thing ever. The next week I got a text from his mom telling me he has been nonstop talking about me to his family and it truly warmed my heart.
