Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m definitely a hands-on nanny! I’d much rather be on the floor playing or outside exploring than sitting on the sidelines! Since I work with all ages, my favorite things to do usually depend on the day:
• For babies: I love the simple stuff tummy time, reading board books, and just helping them hit milestones like crawling or trying new foods.
• For the active kids: I’m a big mountain biker and just love being outside. I’m always down for a walk, a trip to the park, or just running around the backyard to get some fresh air.
• Creative stuff: I’m a fan of anything hands-on, like building massive block towers, finger painting, or sensory bins. I don't mind a little mess (I’m great at cleaning up after!).
• For older kids: Since I’m a 4.0 student, I’m totally comfortable helping with homework or doing more 'grown-up' things like baking or crafts.
Basically, I just love keeping things screen-free and making sure the day has a good mix of high-energy fun and chill downtime.
