A little bit about me

I have been working in group childcare since high school. Due to the pandemic, I was furloughed from my employment with Bright Horizons Daycare. During this time, I had the opportunity to nanny for one of the kids I had had in my class. Spending time one on one with him was a really wonderful experience for me, and made me realize how much I truly enjoyed individualized care. I continued my career as a nanny for 3 years before moving to western Massachusetts. I have a daughter, Claire who is 3 months old. I'm hoping to find a family who doesn't mind if I bring her along to play with your family as well! I look forward to finding a nanny family where I can provide care for your child/children as well as my own!

"Rachel is reliable, caring and professional. She cared full time for our 2 year old and 3.5 year old boys and helped implement a schedule for them. We were lucky to find Rachel in September of 2020 during the height of the pandemic and felt very safe with our kids in her care. They absolutely adored her and enjoyed doing crafts, building car tracks and going for walks with her. She always cleaned up the kitchen and toys and gave us plenty of notice if she needed to adjust the schedule or take time off. When the weather cooperated, she got the boys out of the house and went to playgrounds and parks or just played in the yard. She’s playful and creative and kept the boys entertained. Rachel is a valuable asset to any family. Our kids still ask for her all the time."

"Rachel came into our lives when our kids were 4yr and 7m. My 4year old loved being with her and she always came up with fun imaginative games and silly fun play to keep him engaged. My 7m old was slow to warm up and Rachel was so incredibly patient with her. She kept her on a great schedule and tried many different ways to keep her happy and help her stop missing mom and dad. Rachel is so nice to have in your home, she’s laid back, kind and a pleasure to be around. Our dog loved her too! She’s firm with kids when necessary and makes sure the rules are followed. She also keeps things tidy which is so great to come home to!"

"Rachel took great care of our two years old son who greatly enjoyed spending time with her and developed a strong bond with her. She was always attentive and patient with him following his ideas but also came up with creative ways to engage him. It really showed that she already had a lot of experience in childcare. We found her to be very flexible, reliable and absolutely trustworthy."
