A little bit about me

Hi my name is Rachel and I have experience working with children since I was 12 years old I’m 31 now. Since 2018 I’ve been working with school districts. I’ve worked as a playground school monitor for three years and I have also had a first grade classroom at a church-based nonprofit after school program before the pandemic. And I am currently working at an elementary school where I have a third and fourth grade class. I love working with kids. I am on here because I’m looking for more work my job is not supplying enough hours . So if you are interested, let me know b and we can set arrangements. I do work with the school district so i have all of the screening that I need. I’m also CPR certified. I do work 9AM to 3:30 PM during the week for summer at my district job. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was in elementary school monitor so I watched hundreds of kids on the playground and at lunch. I also had my first grade after school daycare classroom where I help them with their homework and created class lessons also designated playground time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to play with the kids get them to interact with each other and myself teach them manners at the same time also just people skills and teach them as I talk to them. I like playing board games I like playing card games and especially games that involve food. I just like to have fun with the kids and bring out my inner child as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about me or nanny is being able to keep the kids safe and to just build a relationship with them also teach them and just have a bond and knowing that you are influencing positive aspects in their life.

My experience with special needs children...

At the elementary school that I worked at they had children with special needs that I observed and also helped when needed. It is important to have patience and definitely. I will make sure that they are treated with respect and love nothing less than anybody else.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when the kids see you and they get excited that you’re there. It makes me feel warm makes me feel loved and appreciated also that I’m doing something right. I also like hearing the kids responses to things he just never know what they’re gonna say.
