More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I taught at a 3K program, where I supported early learning and classroom routines. I also worked as a camp counselor this past summer with children ages 3–10, leading daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering teamwork. In addition, I volunteer as a teacher at my family church’s Vacation Bible School, where I organized lessons and activities for groups of children. These roles have strengthened my skills in supervision, communication, and creating engaging, age-appropriate experiences.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love encouraging children to learn through exploration. Whether it’s reading together to spark imagination and language skills, singing songs to build memory and rhythm, playing interactive games and puzzles to strengthen problem-solving, or expressing themselves through art, music, and movement, I enjoy creating activities that are both fun and developmentally enriching.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is keeping children safe. I love exploring, learning, and having fun with little ones, but their safety always comes first. Being trusted to care for your child is a responsibility I take very seriously, and I strive to create an environment where they feel secure, happy, and supported every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for my baby cousin, who has a language delay, and through our time together, we’ve developed a special way of communicating where he feels understood and loved. At my camp, I also worked with children on different levels of the autism spectrum who required extra attention. With patience and a willingness to learn their individual needs, I’ve grown as a caregiver and have been deeply inspired by the unique ways children communicate and engage with the world.
The most important part about being a nanny...
She was such a sweet little girl who always had a hard time leaving her mom in the mornings, but the thought of seeing me at school made her feel better. Every day, she would ask with tears in her eyes if I was going to be at school. She spoke only Spanish but understood English, and we found our own special way to communicate when other kids didn’t understand her. One day, her mom told me that she completely lost it because her mom didn’t know if I was going to be at school that day—she burst into tears the moment she heard “I don’t know!” It was both hilarious and heart-melting, and it perfectly shows the bond we shared.

Babysitter Available in Brooklyn, NY: Jasmina J.
Hi! I’m currently a student and looking for a babysitting opportunity. While I don’t have official babysitting experience yet, I’ve always loved being around children and naturally connect with them very well. I’m very patient, caring, and energetic, and I enjoy making kids laugh, spending time with them, and being someone they feel comfortable around. I’m often described as having an “older sister” type of personality because I like giving advice, helping out, and making sure kids feel supported and safe.
Right now, during the school year, I’m mainly available on weekdays after school and more flexible on weekends. During the summer, I’ll have much more availability and be able to work more hours. I’m dependable, eager to learn, and excited for the opportunity to help families however I can!

I absolutely adore working with kids and creating an imaginative, safe, and creative environment for them to grow in. I’m very friendly, bubbly, and patient, and I especially adore caring for babies. Outside of childcare, I love visual arts and reading, surrounding myself with people I love, and being outside as much as possible. I also have two dogs and a bunny, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I am currently looking for a part-time or full-time nanny position and would love the opportunity to support a wonderful family!

I’m Naomi! I have a passion for caring for people, I’m currently a HHA but I love kids so working in childcare is more of my passion. I love being able to learn them more and the different type of techniques they have with learning. I’ve worked in a daycare as a personal assistant who ran the daycare and managed everything. So I’ve had experiences many times with working with multiple children of different age ranges.
Full-Time Nanny Available in Brooklyn, NY: Jahmira H.
My name is Mira, I’m 19 years old I’m a computer science major with the hopes to use nannying to pay for school. I’m the oldest of 13 cousins, so I am not new to being around children. Following that I have 3 years paid experience. I’m very passionate &patient & enjoy being around children. Due to the fact I’m still relatively young I am able to connect with children very easily because we are still interested in similar activities, I’m more like a older sister than a babysitter however do not let that discourage you because I am very mature.
