Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that blend fun with learning. Some of my favorite summer activities include nature scavenger hunts, sensory play, backyard science experiments, process art, water play, and themed reading adventures—all designed to support creativity, independence, and early childhood development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their family. Children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and supported, and I strive to create an environment where they can learn, grow, and be themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with a wide range of developmental, emotional, behavioral, and physical needs. Throughout my six years in childcare, I’ve worked closely with children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and rare genetic conditions, including Jacob’s syndrome.
My approach is patient, adaptable, and child-centered. I understand that every child has unique strengths, communication styles, sensory needs, and routines, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where they can feel confident and successful.
I’m experienced in modifying activities to meet individual needs, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging independence, and partnering with families to provide consistent, compassionate care.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite childcare memories was when I helped a group of kids create a “backyard restaurant” during the summer. We spent the afternoon making menus, collecting leaves and flowers for “ingredients,” and taking turns being chefs and customers. By the end of the day, I had been served approximately 17 bowls of imaginary soup and informed that my payment would be “two rocks and a dandelion.”
Moments like that are why I love working with children: turning everyday activities into opportunities for creativity, learning, and fun.
