The most important part about being a nanny...
The last family I nannied for would say "I love you" by throwing up a peace sign. The youngest boy, who was 5 years old, was a tough one to crack! He was shy and had a hard time without his mom around. After about a month working for them, he gave me a peace sign as I was leaving for the day. Later that night, his mother texted me and told me he has never given anyone a peace sign except for their family. It felt very rewarding to know that he valued me (even may have shed a tear or two).
