Honestly, it’s just being there … really being present and showing the kids you care. Kids can tell when you’re genuine or just going through the motions. When they feel safe and loved, everything else falls into place. Plus, making sure the parents can trust you to have their back? That’s huge. It’s about being someone the whole family can count on.
