A little bit about me

My name is Raven, and I have worked with children as an assistant teacher and it was so fun connecting and watching them hit milestones and would love to continue gaining experience outside of a classroom setting. I am a fun, hardworking, and caring individual and am open to learning and gaining new experiences and skills by putting myself out there. I love reading, nature, travel, and the arts I have been a few places in the US and would love to visit all the National Parks one day as a goal of mine. I'm currently enrolled in college and working on my Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and would like to continue my studies after.
I'm looking for full-time out of state live-in jobs and am willing to discuss this more, as my many families in my state or location are not looking for nannies. I'm also willing to pay for background checks once discussions are started as I'm not immediately available for positions in 2026, but I could start in late 2026 depending on how things go.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher's assistant at my daycare where we need to prep age appropriate class learning modules, crafts, snacks and breakfast. Assist with nap time, diapering, cleaning up the classroom, and trips with the kids. My daycare was State certified all staff had to be trained and certified in ECE, CPR and AED, Health and Safety, and First aid.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I loved going on trips with the kids and being outside. I worked mainly with infants to kids aged four and they are so expressive and curious about new sights and new things. Crafts were also a fun thing to do and have them follow along with inside making slime was always a blast!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love working with kids and working closely with their families and building new bonds from experiences. I love to see developmental growth from infancy all the way up to school age, as someone who was the youngest and had never really been around many young children before my time working at a daycare it is important to learn when and how these developmental growths happen. I

My experience with special needs children...

I have not cared for many and still in a younger age group but I am willing to work with them, their needs, and work with them through troubled times with the right type of care if the parents know what is the best type and can pass knowledge on to me so I feel comfortable and the child feels completely comfortable with me being with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A teacher moment I had found sweet is that I had a toddler in my class who would befriend everyone and wave, blow a kiss, or hug everyone else before being picked up. Another moment that stands out for me is my two fraternal twin toddlers I had in the same class they were very, very mischievous and get up to something everyday whether it be dragging your attention all over the place but my favorite time is when I was doing the sister's hair after nap time then her brother wanted me to do his hair as well so I did, he was so excited he couldn't wait to run out of the classroom to show the other teachers.
