I was a date night baby sitter in college in 2013, for 2 1/2 years. Then in 2015 I began being a nanny to families that I came in contact with via Care.com and continued being a nanny for 10+ years. Once I started I couldn't stop.

I love going to the park, doing crafts, especially holiday crafts, baking, reading, teaching babies the basic sign language, and sensory activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Caring for the children and seeing their faces light up while having fun. Watching the babies grow into amazingly smart and independent children.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with special needs, I have with caring for children with special needs or circumstances is caring for my baby sister who is disabled, unable to walk, talk, or eat by mouth. I would change her diaper, and administer her medications.
Another experience I have is my previous job working at a learning center I had the pleasure of working with some children who were on the spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe my favorite nanny moment would have to be the family I previously worked with the baby boy was 9 months old he had gone through so many milestones that I had been lucky to be apart of. His first two teeth coming in, teaching him to crawl and him actually crawling, and him learning to clap and stand on his own. Seeing the shear joy on his face when he does things is honestly the most amazing thing to ever witness.
