I also volunteered for 2 years in a Special Education center where we play, teach, help, feed snacks, and served like a genuine companion to children with special needs after their school. In our SpEd center, we collaborate with other volunteers, teachers, and parents to help meet the needs of each child. We set objectives for the day, making sure that the children are socializing with one another, play- time, sing nursery rhymes, eat healthy snacks, and talk to their parents about their expectations. As a volunteer, we teamwork with the local government to help the marginalized families financed the need of their child such as hearing aid, eyeglasses, doctor's appointment fees, provide learning materials, and more.

My favorite nanny moment is snuggling. I love it when the child and I are deeply connected when he/she felt like I am an older sister to them.
