"Lucmina Raymond is wonderful with kids. She has been my nanny for three years and is very reliable. My 2 two toddlers fell in love with her and it is like their second mom. If when I moved, I could have moved with her, I would have done so. She is gentle with children and very qualified. In those three years, not once I have blamed her for negligence. I started working in childcare when I was 15 at the Teaching Heart Foundation, where I gained hands-on experience for about a year or two. After that, I began babysitting my baby cousin full-time, mostly during overnight shifts, which taught me a lot about infant care and patience. I also worked with CCC Childcare Career Services, where they placed me in different daycare centers to assist with supervising and caring for children of various ages. These experiences helped me build strong skills in child safety, playtime engagement, and daily routines.

I enjoy doing fun and creative activities with children like arts and crafts, reading storybooks together, playing educational games, and doing simple science experiments. I also love outdoor activities like going to the park, playing sports, and organizing fun scavenger hunts. Baking easy recipes and doing hands-on projects that help them learn while having fun is something I always enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where the child feels cared for and understood. It’s not just about watching over them, but also helping them grow, learn, and feel secure. Being patient, reliable, and building a trusting relationship with both the child and the family is what truly makes a difference.

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a little boy I was watching learn how to tie his shoes for the first time. We had been practicing for days, and when he finally got it, he was so proud that he ran around showing everyone his “big kid” shoes. Seeing his excitement and knowing I helped him achieve that small milestone reminded me how special it is to be part of a child’s growth.
