More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Last summer I provided consistent weekly care for two sisters from the start of summer break until they went back to school. Their family trusted me for full-day care every week.

I created fun, age-appropriate days with crafts, reading, outdoor play, and games, while keeping a calm, safe routine. I was responsible for snacks and meals, light tidying, managing sibling dynamics, and keeping parents updated with great communication. It taught me a lot about patience, organization, and how to keep two kids engaged and happy all summer long.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm really big on arts and crafts and love planning creative, hands-on days that keep kids engaged without screens!

Indoors, I love painting, coloring, making friendship bracelets, sticker art, DIY cards and collages, bead art, puzzles, building forts, baking together, and story time. Last summer with the two girls I cared for, we did a craft corner almost every day.

Outdoors, I love sidewalk chalk murals, bubble art, nature scavenger hunts and using what we find for crafts, park play, and simple games.

I always bring ideas that are age-appropriate, focus on creativity and fine motor skills, and I handle all the setup and cleanup so parents don't have to worry about the mess.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a sitter to me is trust. Parents need to know their kids are completely safe and loved, and kids need to feel safe, seen, and comfortable to be themselves.

For me that means being reliable and consistent, communicating clearly, keeping a safe and calm environment, and creating a space where kids feel confident and cared for. I loved seeing that last summer with the two girls I watched every week when they feel secure, they really shine, get creative, and have so much more fun. That connection and peace of mind for the whole family is what matters most to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite sitter moment was at the end of last summer with the two girls I watched every week. Since we had done arts and crafts all summer, they decided to put on a surprise art gallery for their parents on our last day before school started.

They made little invitations, taped all their paintings and friendship bracelets to the wall, and gave their parents a full tour explaining each piece. Seeing how proud they were and how excited they were to show off what they made all summer was so sweet. It was such a fun, creative way to end the summer together.
