More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting and nannying for neighborhood families, coaching youth soccer, and teaching swim lessons at Aqua Club. I also have experience lifeguarding, which has strengthened my safety awareness and ability to supervise children responsibly. As someone who grew up playing soccer for 15 years and swimming competitively for 10 years, I love staying active and helping kids learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include playing sports, going to the beach, swimming, spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and exploring new activities together. I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun while also encouraging them to learn new skills, try new things, and build confidence!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe it’s about more than just watching kids; it’s about building trust, being a positive role model, encouraging their independence, and helping them grow into confident, happy individuals. I want every child I care for to feel heard, valued, and supported while making fun memories along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes working with children with autism, ADD, and ADHD. I understand the importance of being patient, adaptable, and supportive while recognizing that every child has different needs, strengths, and ways of learning. I strive to create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable, understood, and confident. I enjoy finding ways to keep kids engaged while adapting activities and communication to help them feel successful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when I get to see how much a child has grown in confidence and come out of their shell. I’ve received handwritten cards from children and thoughtful gifts from parents who have shared how much more talkative, outgoing, and confident their kids have become. Knowing that I’ve made a positive impact on a child’s life and helped them feel comfortable enough to express themselves is incredibly rewarding. Those moments remind me why I love working with children so much!
