A little bit about me

I have over 10 years of professional nanny experience, was a teacher in Eastern Europe with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Also attended University for 3. 5 years with a concentration in Childhood Development and completed a babysitter's certification course with Norland College in England. Not into smoking, drugs or alcohol (practice holistic). Love researching and organizing arts and crafts activities. When I am with children:
1. I like to be a positive role model while caring for children
2. I like to notice when child behaves well and acknowledge it
3. I focus on behavior and not the child
4. I like to establish routines, value discipline
5. I like to keep child focused on their inner discipline
Happy to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping associated with children and happy to assist with more while with a single working parent. I use family/nanny car for work purposes.Live-in, split shifts am/pm ok,40-50hrs/week,or just rotating shifts. Cash preferred

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Researching age appropriate arts and crafts, introducing to healthy cooking/baking, engaging them in self play so they learn how not to be bored when by themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is to be a quality guidance provider/mentor to the children

My experience with special needs children...

Most of special needs are treatable and actually curable. Happy to work with the family on referrals , depending on what type of special need is , and following through the advised protocols. Otherwise I prefer to work around healthy children.
