Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a summer camp for a few weeks in 2024. I was an advocate, so I worked with 2 children with special needs and worked to help them engage in camp activities. I also worked in a church nursery for 6 years, I worked with kids ages 0-2, and occasionally with the prek, kindergarten, and 1st grade kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to help shape future generations that will hopefully continue on to improve our society and world as a whole.
My experience with special needs children...
Most of my siblings have special needs, such as OCD, autism, and asburgers. However I do have others in my family that have other disabilities, so I am well versed in how to deal with many things, but not all. If I don't know I'd love to learn!
