The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a little boy overcome his fear of the dark. Every night, he would get anxious at bedtime, so we started a fun ‘Glow-in-the-Dark Adventure’ routine. We decorated his room with glow stars, read bedtime stories with a flashlight, and even made a ‘bravery badge’ that he could wear at night. After a few weeks, he proudly told me, ‘I’m not scared anymore!’ Seeing his confidence grow was such a special moment, and it reminded me why I love being a nanny—helping kids feel safe, happy, and strong!
