Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a paraprofessional for three years. I worked with elementary aged kids with autism. I’d work with them on school work, social skills, motor skills, and potty training. There is so much uniqueness in each and every kid I worked with. It was quite rewarding seeing the kids grow throughout the school year and being able to say I played a part in that.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing make believe games with children! Their minds are so creative and I could use more imagination in my life.
Doing anything art related is another activity I enjoy doing with children. Reading books, watching cartoons, and playing with pets are also fun ways to spend time with kids!

I think the most important part about being a nanny is building a connection with the children. I think it's important for me to be patient and caring towards them so they can learn more about those qualities.

In middle and high school kids with special needs were my favorite people to hang around! In 2023 I got a job as a paraprofessional and worked in that field for three years.

In high school babysat 2 year old twins, one boy and one girl. The little girl loved to pretend to be a dog. I would call her Doggy April and she got a kick out of that. I don't know if she or I enjoyed her doggy moments more.
