Hello, My name is Rianna Brooks and I am 23 years old. I currently work as a hotel front desk receptionist and is looking for a part time babysitting or Nanny career. I love working with kids as I do teach dance a few times a month. I love to find ways to keep the kids entertained and help them grow into an amazing human being. I am currently dancing in a nonprofit organization called Generation why and travel to different schools/ military families around the country to teach about mental health and how you can handle different situations in your life. I’m currently in online school to learn about gardening, herbal health, and looking for to becoming a nutritionist. My experience in childcare has been wonderful over the few years, I was lucky to have a range of different personalities to broaden my view of childcare and learned ways to help the child learn about why they feel the way they feel about many of different emotions they may be going through in this huge world.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I teach dance to kids at various dance studios as a substitute or if someone wants a cool masterclass to learn about the basics or teach choreography. I recently taught 4 classes at Oklahoma National Guard camp with around 150 kids and by the way, it was AWESOME!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love writing, drawing/ coloring, walking, going to the park, EATING lol, reading, watching a great family friendly cartoon show or movie (my favorite is definitely Moana and or any 90s cartoons)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The important part about being a nanny is safety and love. I feel those 2 things go well with each other and that’s why I put them into one category. Kids are our future and we all have to work together to look out for them and make sure they are safe and receive love. Although making sure they don’t talk to strangers or run off to where we can’t see them is a great safety need we still need to make sure they are thinking about safety mentally including the knowledge of overcoming sadness or anger so they won’t harm themselves or others.

The most important part about being a nanny...

OMG, my favorite moment was when I was about to put the kids to bed after playtime and the older sister who was 3 years old decided to tuck her brother in and gave him a kiss on the forehead 🥺💕
