A little bit about me

I’ve worked with families of all kinds professionally for over 10 years (&for family friend’s since I was 12). The bulk of my experience has been with babies and toddlers 4 months-4 years but I’m experienced with every age up to 14 years old. I’ve provided care and transportation for an adult who has Down Syndrome for 5 years, since she was teenager (working very part time at present). I also have experience with special needs including autism and medical needs including Cystic Fibrosis.
I’m quickly able to adjust to a family’s needs and routines. I am comfortable and experienced in making nutritionally balanced meals and snacks and I keep clean. I enjoy spending time outside, making artwork, listening and dancing to music, reading among others. I’m skilled at anticipating needs and I practice connection based care to better ‘meet someone where they are.’ I’m friendly, articulate and easy to get along with. I also love animals and am comfortable giving pet care as well as childcare.
