The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a secure, respectful, and joyful relationship with the child and their family. Children thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported. As a nanny, I see myself not just as a caregiver, but as a consistent, positive presence in a child’s life—someone who helps them feel confident, safe, and celebrated.
My experience with special needs children...
While I haven’t yet had the opportunity to work one-on-one with children who have special needs, I’m open, patient, and eager to learn. I believe I have the calm, compassionate nature and adaptability needed to support them, and I’m confident I could create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment with the right guidance and training.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite teacher moments was when I saw a child finally understand something they had been struggling with. The look on their face went from frustration to pure excitement, and in that moment, I realized how powerful patience and encouragement can be. It reminded me that teaching isn’t just about lessons—it’s about building confidence and helping kids believe in themselves.

I am an Ecuadorian Industrial Engineer with a Master’s degree in Business. I’ve been a military spouse since 2022. After getting married, I moved from Ecuador to the United States, bringing with me dreams, determination, and the hope of continuing to grow my career. I left behind everything I had known, my family, friends, and my lovely career. I came to build a new life and start a family here. This is my first time living in another country.
Since arriving, I’ve been actively seeking opportunities in my field, but the job market has been challenging. I’ve faced many obstacles along the way. After having my baby, I began cleaning houses to help support my family. Later, I was hired as a sales associate at Goodwill, and I’m currently working part-time as a Retail associate at Ross.
Despite hearing “no” more times than I can count, I remain hopeful and focused. I’m doing everything I can to keep moving forward, overcome each challenge, and achieve my professional goals.
