More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my time as a teacher’s assistant at my middle school, where I worked directly with two-year-olds. I helped them with early learning activities such as reading, numbers, the alphabet, and guided them through structured playtime. This role taught me how to be patient, encouraging, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I think it’s really important to make sure kids have a healthy balance between activities that support their development and ones that they’re genuinely excited about. I love encouraging activities that help build both motor and mental skills—whether that’s through hands-on play, creative crafts, reading time, or outdoor games.
At the same time, I believe kids need the freedom to explore what they enjoy, whether it’s riding bikes, using their imagination, or going on fun outings like trips to the zoo or aquarium. Children thrive when they’re engaged in different forms of interaction, and I enjoy helping create those opportunities to support their growth at every age.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued and free to be themselves. It’s not just about supervision, it’s about building trust, forming real connections, and being a positive influence during some of the most important years of their development.
Being a nanny means showing up with patience, empathy, and consistency every day. It also means understanding that every child is unique and doing your best to meet their emotional, physical, and developmental needs while also supporting the family as a whole.

My experience with special needs children...
While I haven’t worked directly in a professional setting with special needs children, I do have a close family member with special needs. Growing up together taught me how to be patient, compassionate, and understanding of her unique needs. I’ve learned how to help her stay engaged, feel included, and have a good time with our family in ways that work best for her.
This experience has helped me develop the ability to be flexible, calm, and supportive, even in situations that can sometimes be challenging. It’s also shown me the importance of meeting each child where they are and creating a positive, encouraging environment for them to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I was caring for finally mastered writing their name after we had practiced together for days. The look on their face when they realized they did it all on their own was priceless! It was such a special reminder of how small wins can mean so much to a child, and how rewarding it is to be part of those moments. Watching their confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that made me feel so proud and grateful to do what I do.
