More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Where do I start? There are so many fun things to do with kids!
Arts & Crafts: I love painting and getting creative with kids, whether it's making homemade playdough, painting a masterpiece, or turning cardboard boxes into rocket ships.
Storytelling & Reading: Whether it's bedtime stories, silly made-up adventures, or helping a child learn to read, I love making stories come to life.
Outdoor Adventures: I enjoy going to parks, playing tag, or even creating mini scavenger hunts to make outdoor time more exciting.
Science Fun: As a microbiology student, I know tons of cool (and safe) science experiments that kids love—like making slime, growing crystals, or learning how germs spread using glitter!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny isn’t just about watching over children—it’s about being present. To me, the most important part of this job is making sure every child feels safe, loved, and valued.
I believe children thrive when they have someone who listens to their endless stories, encourages their wild ideas, and helps them navigate big emotions. Whether it’s a scraped knee that needs a superhero Band-Aid, a frustrating homework assignment that needs some extra patience, or a moment of pure excitement that deserves to be celebrated—I want to be there for those moments.
At the end of the day, I want the kids I care for to feel like they had fun, learned something new, and felt supported in whatever they were doing. That’s what makes being a nanny so special to me!

My experience with special needs children...
While I don’t have formal experience caring for special needs children, I strongly believe that every child deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. In my tutoring and volunteer work, I’ve worked with children who needed extra attention, and I’m always eager to learn how to best support each child's unique needs. I’m open to working with parents to ensure their child receives the care, structure, and encouragement they need to thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There’s no single moment that stands out because every day with kids brings something new! But if I had to pick, it would be those “lightbulb” moments—when a child finally masters something they were struggling with, whether it's tying their shoes, solving a puzzle, or reading their first book. Seeing the pride on their face and knowing I played a small part in their achievement is one of the best feelings in the world.
Another favorite moment is when kids surprise me with their incredible creativity. I once helped a child build a pillow fort, which quickly turned into a full-blown “castle under attack” situation, complete with knights, dragons, and magic spells. Their imagination is endless, and I love being part of their world, even if only for a few hours a day!
