Hello my name is Robin &: I'm a CNA/HHA/CMA/EMT, I've been a Professional Nanny for 7 different families over the last 14 years & I have wonderful references. I have 40 years experience with children of all ages! I was a Foster Care Parent in San Diego, CA for 10 yrs. I'm a mother of 2 kids and I have 4 grand kids. I've worked in the medical field for over 20 years.
I love to keep kids busy in the home & outdoors: I love arts & crafts, board & memory games, dress up & imagination play, READING books & library trips, zoo trips, pools, any sports. Anything outdoors weather permitting, or whatever the child/children are into! I'm a great cook, light household cleaning, shopping, errands, homework, drive kids to daycare/school, all to keep the home running smoothly & effectively!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked for five families as a Nanny professionally; I’m a CNA:HHA/CMA/EMT and will be finishing my nursing degree at night school! I have worked in the medical field for 20 yrs and I’ve been taking care of children since I was 10 yrs old! They are my 2 passions in life

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Crafts, parks, reading, puppet shows, trips anywhere especially the library and fun places outside (weather permitting) like the zoo, animal park, Dino park, trampoline park, etc. Getting outside is important to healthy living! In the middle of this pandemic we will have to be creative but I believe with imagination anything is possible! The children’s psychological and emotional health is just as important as physical health.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’m there for your children and for your peace of mind! I will take care of them like they are my kids or grandchildren (which I have 3 so far!)

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for children in the foster care system in San Diego, CA. for 10 yrs and took care of drug babies; failure to thrive, spina bifida, autistic, post traumatic syndrome, and 3 sets of twins! All of these children had something they were going through mentally and/or physically and I’m trained in both. I have an associate degree in psychology as well as my medical experience and degrees

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a family with a set of twin boys in Wichita and they were almost 11 months old and not drinking from sippy cups yet? The mother told me I’d have to feed each one separately a bottle the first time she went out. I thought “we’ll see” and with the hour I sent her pictures from my phone showing her, her boys drinking their own bottles by themselves! She said “those little dickens were fooling with me”? I told her that Miss Robin had a way with children ...lol
