A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Robyn and I am a grad student at USF pursuing my MSW so I can take one of my greatest passions- working with children- and use it in a professional setting to make the world a better place. I am currently looking for a part-time nanny position with primarily evening hours.

I have been in childcare for over 8 years and truly have a passion for caring for children. I have worked in every situation imaginable, including multiples, overnight, special needs, infants, and more.

I previously worked in a childcare facility where I flourished caring for 30+ children at a time. Now I am looking for something smaller scale, as I much rather prefer the connection that I can form in a more focused setting.

I am First Aid certified, as well as COVID-19 vaccinated. I can also provide a background check upon request! I am experienced with feeding, medication, housework, running errands, and am willing to help out with just about anything!

I love doing crafts, sports like soccer and dancing, going for walks to nearby parks or ponds, etc. I also love to help children learn new things so I am great with homework help.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Truly taking the time to get to know the child and connect with them on their level. Caring for a child isn't just about the basic needs like feeding, shelter, etc., it's about fostering a deep connection with them so they know they are deeply cared for and loved.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with ADD, ADHD, various learning disabilities such as dyslexia, anger management problems, down's syndrome, and autism. I am also very well versed in mental illness. I have experience with administering medication, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and specific meal preparation (foods to avoid, etc.).
