The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is truly being there for the children and providing consistent support, encouragement, and care. Children need someone they can trust and lean on, especially when they are feeling discouraged, upset, or not at their best. Being responsible and dependable is essential, because kids look up to the person taking care of them and feel safer knowing they are supported. It is very important to me that the children I care for feel valued, believed in, and have their emotional and physical needs met. I always strive to support them in any way I can and help them grow with confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments as a nanny was while helping a child I cared for during a soccer activity. They were feeling discouraged because they weren’t getting the drill right, but I took the time to encourage them, laugh with them, and crack a few jokes to lift their mood. Seeing their confidence slowly return reminded me how important patience, positivity, and support are when working with children. It was really meaningful to know I could be there for them, not just to teach a skill, but to help them feel supported and believed in.
