A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Rokia Keita.

I am a loving and dedicated mother of three with a passion for caring for children. Originally from Mali, I bring not only experience as a mom but also years of caring for children outside of my own. I enjoy engaging kids in fun and educational activities, such as trips to the park, while also encouraging them to be responsible by cleaning up after themselves and caring for their toys.

My goal is to help children grow into kind, respectful, and happy individuals. In addition to childcare, I also support families with light house cleaning and strive to be a dependable and supportive nanny who makes life easier for both children and parents.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My most relevant experience has been working as a babysitter over the years, which has given me a great deal of knowledge and hands-on skills in caring for children of different ages. In addition, raising my own children has guided me and strengthened my ability to nurture, teach, and support kids in a loving and structured way.

Together, these experiences have prepared me to provide excellent care and to confidently handle the responsibilities of being a nanny

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I can support children with engaging and age-appropriate activities such as completing worksheets to encourage learning, playing fun and interactive games, and organizing creative activities that keep them active and stimulated. I enjoy finding a balance between educational tasks and playful experiences so children can learn, grow, and have fun at the same time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and supportive environment for the children in your care. Safety is always the first priority, as children and parents need to feel secure and trust that their well-being is protected at all times.

Beyond safety, being nurturing and patient is essential. Children need emotional support, encouragement, and someone who truly listens to them. A nanny helps create a warm and positive atmosphere where kids can feel comfortable being themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs, including those with ADHD. Through supporting a friend’s child and other children, I have gained valuable skills in creating structure, maintaining patience, and using positive strategies to help them succeed. I am confident in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate care while adapting to each child’s unique needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my best moments as a nanny was when the children I cared for acknowledged that I was a good nanny. Hearing this directly from them was very special to me because it showed that they felt happy, safe, and supported in my care. Knowing that the children appreciate and enjoy the time we spend together reminds me why I love working with kids and motivates me to always give my best.
